Willow Day at Shepperton on 27th September 2015 Sally Pemberton

Just extending a big thank you to everyone who came to the Willow Day last Sunday. You can view photos of below The railway sleeper bridge was a success and will be very useful for access to the willow. The paths in the willow made by the wood chips barrowed by Meryl, Tryphena and others are very welcome, as was the burning of the brash and the trimming of the willow tunnels and arches, not to mention the thankless task of digging out the regrown bulrush shoots in the pond. Also, trees planted in the nursery, log chopping, and den making by the children to Oscar's 'direction' – a real hive of activity!
